AC Acquisitions, L.L.C. Model EEO Program

AC Acquisitions, L.L.C. (“AC”), licensee of AM radio station WACA, Wheaton, Maryland (the “Station”) herein sets out its equal employment opportunity (“EEO”) program.
I. General Policy

AC will afford equal employment opportunities in all personnel actions without regard to race, color, religion, national origin or sex, and has adopted an EEO program for the Station to utilize the skills of qualified personnel.
II. Responsibility for Implementation

The General Manager of the Station, Alejandro Carrasco, will be the AC representative designated to have responsibility for implementation of the EEO program. The General Manager will also be responsible for overseeing that all persons making employment decisions, including the recruitment, evaluation, selection, promotion, compensation, training and termination of employees, ensure that AC’s policy and program is adhered to and that no person is discriminated against in employment because of race, color, religion, national origin or sex.
III. Policy Dissemination
A. Application Procedures

AC will utilize an employment application form that contains a notice informing job applicants that discrimination is prohibited and that persons who believe that they have been discriminated against may notify the appropriate state and Federal governmental agencies.
Further, AC will post a notice which informs job applicants and employees that AC is an equal opportunity employer and that they may notify appropriate governmental authorities if they believe that they have been discriminated against.
AC will seek the cooperation of any unions represented at the station in the implementation of the EEO program and in the inclusion of nondiscrimination provisions in any union contracts with AC.
AC will also post notices of employment vacancies at the Station, which broadcasts full-time in the Spanish language, in Washington, D.C. metropolitan area newspapers like El Pregonero & The Washington Hispanic ; that are printed in the Spanish language.
B. Notice of Employment Opportunities

In furtherance of its EEO program, when there are employment opportunities, AC will:
widely disseminate information concerning each full-time (30 hours or more) job vacancy, except for vacancies filled in exigent circumstances; and
provide notice of each full-time job vacancy to recruitment organizations that have requested such notice.
post job openings on the Station’s website (www.radioamerica.net).
In addition, AC will participate in the longer term in collective initiatives, such as those to be undertaken by the Maryland Broadcasters Association, as well as provide notification to interested community groups in the vicinity of Wheaton, Maryland, the Station’s community of license, and in the greater Washington, D.C. metropolitan area that comprises the Station’s listening area of employment vacancies at the Station.
IV. Recruitment Sources

To ensure that information concerning each full-time vacancy is widely disseminated, we propose to use recruitment sources consistent with the requirements of Section 73.2080 of the FCC Rules, including, but not limited to, the following organizations:
